The TESOL Oman Board of Directors (BOD) consists of up to 12 members directed by an elected President. The BOD consists of representatives from various constituencies, public and private in the ELT sector in Oman.
The following twelve BOD positions are allocated to:

Sultan Qaboos University, Faculty of Education (1),
Sultan Qaboos University, Faculty of Arts (1)
Private Universities in Oman (1),
University of Technology & Applied Science: Colleges of Applied Sciences (1),
University of Technology & Applied Science: Colleges of Technology in Oman (1),
Ministry of Education in Oman (1),
Private Schools in Oman (1),
US Embassy in Oman (1),
Two additional seats are reserved for honorary Board members (2).
Sultan Qaboos University, University of Technology & Applied Science, Private Universities in Oman, Ministry of Education in Oman, Private Schools in Oman, and US Embassy have a permanent seat(s) each, but are not eligible for the presidency.
The Conference Chair becomes a Board member for one year ending on the last day of the conference which will be held annually, upon which the incoming chair becomes a Board member for the ensuing year.
